Red Wings cut 12 from camp

The Red Wings released tryout forwards Jordan Foreman, Bryce Swan, Brent Raedeke and Cody Thornton and defencemen Joey Ryan, Cameron Cepek, Brian Lashoff and Travis Ehrhardt.
Draft picks Randy Cameron (Moncton Wildcats, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League), Zack Torquato (Erie Otters, Ontario Hockey League), Stephen Johnston (Belleville Bulls, OHL) and Thomas McCollum (Guelph Storm, OHL) were reassigned to their junior teams.
