The following is a snapshot of the good and the bad from the Detroit Red Wings' 5-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues at the annual prospects tournament in Traverse City, Mich., on Tuesday.
PLUS
Zack Torquato had a productive night, with a goal, an assist and eight shots with Evan McGrath and Darren Helm out of the lineup.
Evan McGrath scored a goal and played with intensity. He was hit from behind in the second period and left with an injury in the third.
Yves Bastien used his impressive speed to create quality chances and caused plenty of havoc in the offensive zone. He had an assist.
MINUS
Cleve Kinley, along side partner Jonathan Ericsson, made made poor decisions and turnovers, one of which led to the game-winning goal against.
Randy Cameron had a team worst minus-3 rating and has struggled to set himself apart with the two-way game he is known for.
Jonathan Ericsson had an uncharacteristic bad game on the blue line, although he added another assist to his point total.
