2000-01:
- Spent season at his home in Cranbrook, B.C., playing junior A hockey.

2001-02:
- Had a good first half with Lethbridge (WHL) but suffered groin injury second half.
- Posted a franchise record 2.84 goals-against average.
- Ranked 86th overall by The Hockey News and 113th by Red Line Report among draft prospects.
- Picked in the fifth round (166th overall) by the Red Wings.

2002-03:
- Struggled at training camp and then tore his MCL.
- Returned prematurely from the knee injury and ended up with just a .865 save percentage.
- Received little defensive support on a team that finished with WHL's fourth-worst record.

2003-04:
- Trained heavily in off-season to recover from injuries and had solid training camp with Detroit.
- Had tremendous season with Lethbridge, becoming among league's top goaltenders.
- Finished with a 2.61 GAA (16th in league), a .910 SPCT. (15th), and five shutouts (ninth).
- Posted among league's best numbers during the final third of season after coaching change.
- Attended second-round Detroit Red Wings game at the Saddledome in Calgary during NHL playoffs.
- Earned three-year contract with Detroit Red Wings before June 1 deadline.

2004-05:
- Spent rookie pro season with Toledo (ECHL) as backup to one-time NHLer Scott Fankhouser.
- Had decent rookie year (25 starts, 2.82 GAA, .906 SPCT).
- Earned several brief call-ups to Grand Rapids (AHL), but didn't see any time.

2005-06:
- Missed most of year after having rotator-cuff surgery in November (12 starts, 2.93 GAA).
- Made AHL debut, appearing in 40 minutes of action with Grand Rapids.
- Returned in time for playoffs, but struggled (2-5 record, 3.87 GAA).

2006-07:
- Started season with ECHL's Toledo but December groin injury kept him out three months.
- Posted solid overall numbers (17-17-1, 2.83 GAA, .914 SPCT).
- Told Toledo Blade in March he was contemplating retirement.
- Struggled in playoffs (4.57 GAA, .855 SPCT) as Toledo suffered early first-round playoff exit.
- Re-signed to a one-year contract by the Red Wings in the off-season.

- Missed the entire season recovering from hernia surgery.
