No, you misunderstood. You said you were a UM fan and I asked what years you attended the University of Michigan.

Or are you a Walmart Wolvy fan?

You know, the ones who either never attended college or went to some small school somewhere, or maybe even Central or Western, but hopped upon the UM bandwagon simply because of its winning tradition.

No, Stillsomeguy, I didn't hop on, unless you think hoping on as an infant is 'hoping on'. I've been a staunch supporter of UM for over 30+ years. And gee, I didn't even need my masters degree to figure out what 'matriculate' meant. But I did need time to figure out why the heck your question was relevant to a complete disaster of a football game. But excellent job trashing me instead of focusing on the real problem.

Losing to UM wasn't good enough for OSU, so they bounced Cooper and got somebody better. Carr continually tells people in post game shows after a devastating loss "I didn't have them ready to play". But he continually gets a pass from an institution that should expect far more out of it's coach. It reminds me of a Lion coach awhile back who said "what's a guy gotta do to get fired around here?".

Oh, so you didn't misunderstand. I guess you were just dodging the question.

Gotcha...

Say hello to all your downcast friends at the Walmart for me.

Every UofM discussion winds down to that from him.

its some sort of of new e-rule for him. You arent allowed to be a fan of any college team unless you went to that college.

Well, lemme rephrase that. You arent allowed to be a fan of Michigan. Any other team is fine.

My only guess is back in the day there was a drunken Bar Room Brawl, and a pool stick, and a 2-3 Michigan fans laughing thier ass off.

Yeah, so?

Welcome to my world, even if it’s just for one week.

I’ve grown sick and tired of arrogant UM fans, especially those who never attended the university, laughing at MSU alums such as myself every time Teh Sparty has hocked-up a hairball over the last forty-some years – which Lord knows has been often.

It gets real old, so suck it up and take it like men, men...

Oh, and it made Drudge. LOL…

I won't respond to your meaningless drivel anymore (or your very strange infatuation with Walmart). However, you don't seem to be willing to see the truth, so I'll lay it out for you:

Last 7 against OSU- 2-5
Record in last six bowl games-1-5
National Championships in last 10 years- 0
Record against Appalachia who? 0-1.

Top institutions don't stand for that crap. They move in another direction.
By the way, ESPN just did the research: In the history of the AP poll, there is no Division I school that has lost to a Division II...EVER....until now. Flame ME for some strange, odd reason if you must, but I don't see how you can defend those stats, which completely support my comments. As a 'true fan', I simply think this man should resign now.

In the interest of being the more eloquent, thougtful poster, I won't comment on stillsomeguy's revelation of his true collegiate affiliation. Other than to say that school should demand excellence from their coaches, too, and they haven't. Michigan should aspire to excellence, and they haven't. You see where sitting tight with a bad coach can get you.

Hopefully this will be the begining of the end of the Carr era.

Ooooooo...elequent.

I like that, even though I can't even spell it correctly cuz I went to a party school.

You know, this is a situation sort of like watching your big brother – the one who was always beating the crap out of you and laughing about it – getting his ass handed to him by a third-grader in a playground fight.

The red-headed bastard step-child very rarely finds a reason to laugh. This is one of those times.

That must have hurt, the way UofM fans laughed at you.

Splains the hostility.
