Can Cabrera still play 3rd base? He's put on a bit of weight since he played there with the Marlins, and they don't call it the hot corner because the sun shines hotter there than it does in other spots on the field. Between his less than ideal range, and Peralta's equally unimpressive range, there are going to be a lot of balls squeaking through into left, and it's not like they're going to pull Cabrera for a defensive replacement late in games.
Will Fielder continue to be a dominant hitter for the next 9 years? He's certainly young enough, but is he going to follow in his father's footsteps and eat himself out of baseball? He's been healthy so far, but we've seen other players go from healthy to a physical mess in a hurry, especially guys who haven't been in the best of shape. If I was Mr. I., I'd have insisted that Prince use some of the money I'm paying him to hire a personal nutritionist and a personal trainer to get his weight under control a bit.
Don't get me wrong, the Tigers are a better team than they were before, but I don't think they're as much improved as we originally thought.

^^^^This.
Looking at the lineup makes you think of scoring 10 runs regularly. Looking at that defense makes you think of giving up 10 runs regularly. I have to imagine Miggy at 3rd, because I can't see a $20+ million DH, but I don't think his defense plus Jhonny is going to be a good thing.

When's the last time Verlander gave up 10 runs

Tigers don't ahve 5 starters who can punch out 200+ batters. If Cabrera can't handle 3B this could be a train wreck

Then they move him to left field, he can't be much worse than Young.
