They now have one of the best front 7's in the NFL.

The other day, they said on the radio that the Lions were out of the running for Tulloch. That he was either looking elsewhere or he got a huge offer that the Lions could not match. And now, here he is. Good move.

I'm excited now. Durant-Tulloch-Levy starting and Carpenter, Palmer, Folllett, Campbell, Hogue Ekejiuba fighting for the backup spots. That's a solid LB corps. Now they just need to bring back Houston.

I heard about that too. Apparently Tulloch waited too long, as his other suitors signed other LBs, and he ended up having to take even less than what Detroit originally offered. Crazy turn of events.

oh this is so **** badass. We don't even NEED defensive backs anymore! but we've got

KVB Suh Fairley Avril with Williams and Hill working in
Levy Tulloch Durant
Delmas Spievey
Houston Smith (they also signed that other guy Wright?)

that's a great D-line, a great group of linebackers, a very good group of safeties and then some decent backs I'm **** PUMPED!
And it's all for me grog, me jolly, jolly grog All for me beer and tobacco Well I spent all me tin on the lassies drinking gin

Williams will start, at least at first, until Fairley moves past him, but whoever is the "backup" will get plenty of playing time, as will Hill.

I was thinking that in goal line situations, why not go a 5-2 defense? Avril, Suh, Hill/Fairley, Willaims and KVB across the front, there's no way those guys are going to all get blocked.

Fairley has an uphill battle to be starting but he's **** awesome! I expect by game 6 he'll be playing full time. and yes I'm still **** PUMPED!

Stephen Tulloch was ranked as the best available linebacker at his position.

I think he's something of a Stephen Boyd type MLB, good at plugging the holes. He should have an easy time of it with the Lions tackles. If I was a MLB, Detroit would be one of my top choices just to play behind Suh, Williams, Fairley and Hill.
