The Griffins have done something they haven't done in a month - win conesecutive games. Carl Corazzini tied up the game 49 seconds into the 3rd and Mark Cullen tallied the game winner with 39 seconds left in regulation. The Griffins went 1/6 on the PP while the Monsters were 0/3. Grand Rapids held a 39-22 edge in shots.

It was a sweet comeback. Jimmy played very well again. He's been solid in the past few games. He looks to be back on track. (Thank GOD)!

The rookies are playing better too. Kindl had a good game again and Helm just continues to impress. They needed to get that monkey off their back. Hopefully they reel off a nice winning streak. If they sweep Syracuse they could end up in 3rd place by the end of the week.

Things are starting to look up.
