Honestly I don't see what the big deal is anyways. If Igor wants to wear the #19 with the Wings then they should let him. He's the future of the team and has the potential to be a great player. I think he'd a great choice to wear the #19 and to continue the legacy.

You profess a love for Yzerman, then turn around and say they should take his number down from the rafter for a rookie who may not even pan out. You don't see the complete stupidity in that? Unless you hate #19 you'd never spit on his legacy like that.

Obviously, Grigorenko wearing #19 in Grand Rapids is a precursor to the Wings trading Yzerman. And that's just horrible. After all he's done for this franchise, for them to disrespect him like that...
