Hey, you guys in Grand Rapids: Occasionally post on the Red Wings board to keep us up to date on how Grigorenko is progressing! Thanks.

Not sure how much help we can be as the Griffins schedule has them opening on the road so the only home games in October are 20, 21, and 28th. After that and possibly before he will probably be back to Detroit given his contract.

You may want to check griffinscentral.com the day after those games as Stripe generally writes up a nice review after every home game.

I don't know if that was supposed to be a joke or not. I haven't posted in ages but I had to comment on that Y19 post. Are you serious, or have you forgotten that Stevie's number has been retired?

It's true that Igor is wearing the #19 in GR. I'm not sure why he picked that number, but I thought it was interesting that he picked it. I posted it in this thread because it's a thread about Igor. I didn't want to start a whole new thread.

Honestly I don't see what the big deal is anyways. If Igor wants to wear the #19 with the Wings then they should let him. He's the future of the team and has the potential to be a great player. I think he'd a great choice to wear the #19 and to continue the legacy.
