Ilari Filppula is 10th in AHL scoring and leads Grand Rapids in points yet he isnt the best forward or MVP yah that makes sense

well Tatar had a call up to the NHL and Tardif is their captain

I think IFlip and Pare both were hurt a bit by timing. Votes had to be in a few weeks ago and those two have gone on hot streaks since then. At the time I completed my vote Filpula and Tatar had very similar numbers with Tatar playing in fewer games. That plus the fact that Tatar plays more physical and is 7-9 years younger was the tipping point in my mind. Those two were pretty much even in my mind.
