Right, this is the sole reason the public perception of journalists is in the crapper.

Nothing to do with Dan Rather using obviously forged documents to try and sway a presidential election…

Nothing to do with Jayson Blair and Judith Miller at the NYT, or the chick at the Baltimore Sun whose name escapes me right now.…

Nothing to do with Janet Cooke at the Washington Post...

Nothing to do with CNN’s hack Operation Tailwind…

Nothing to do with NBC's Dateline faking crash tests on SUVs…

Nothing to do with the LA Times photojournalist fired for faking his photos while on assignment in Iraq..

Nothing to do with Reuters using fake/staged photos in their coverage of the Israeli/Hamas war last summer.

Nothing to do with the AP reporting attrocities committed by Iraqi civilians that never happened...

Etc, etc, etc..

Hack...

There's nothing funnier than Newsie talking politics. Unless it's those incredible college-soph dweebs putting their two cents in on the Democratic "debate" tonight. Gawd, that was hilarious, in a sad kind of way.

Everything to do with the national news media being a propaganda machine equal to Pravda during the cold war.

Speaking of funny (unintentionally funny) questions, how about the one asking the candidates if they would be willing to work minimum wage for the year. I think about four or five answered......and of course all answered 'yes.' Hillary said 'sure.' I would have liked one of them to have the stones to say something like 'minimum wage isn't suppose to sustain you for your entire life and the job of US congressman (or whatever) is not a minimum wage job.' Really, I'm not coming down on those earning minimum wage but the question reveals how too many think......that a wage is something that you are entitled to rather than something you earn in the marketplace.

Most of the polls indicate Edwards didn’t do so well. Perhaps the guy he hired to sit in the audience next to his wife while dressed as The Grim Reaper had car trouble on the way to the event or something.

politicians are all acum bags. Always vote the incumbent out, it is our only hope.

As for the media rooting on the war, please point them out.

Here is a story that was passed around at work. I work in the PM office for the Stryker vehicle for the Army.

An original story came out with the video stating that all four soldiers were killed. This story tells us the truth.

http://www.michaelyon-online.com/wp/superman.htm

FYI: Information and video like this will normally be classified on the secret level. Unless of course it is filmed by insurgents and first shown on televsion stations such as Al-Jazeera.

It makes you wonder sometimes if the "death toll" they give us is completely accurate.
I play hockey and I fornicate, cause those are the two most fun things to do in cold weather.

How about, oh, just about everybody in the mainstream media?

How about those NYT liberals, like Tom Friedman and Judy Miller. Miller, who actually went to jail, to protect her 'source" Libby.

People who support this war and continue to support the neo-con agenda are going to wake up feeling really bad one day.

Then again, maybe they won't wake up. They haven't so far, so what's to change.

Miller went to jail to protect her confidentiality understanding with sources. This practice has been in effect with journalists and their sources well before the war and it will continue well afterwards. The media is packed with liberals.....they wanted us out of Iraq for a good long while already.

Miller went to bat to protect her neo-con source.
It was Libby who hooked Miller up with Chalabi .. the FRAUD who the administration used as the source of their "intelligence" was the same FRAUD who miller sourced in all her stories leading up to the war.

The media is packed with liberals.
But it is owned by the rich.
And while many rich people are socially liberal, they tend to be fiscally conservative ... against unions... against regulations that protect workers and the environment ...
