I agree with everything except maybe the bolded part. I'm torn, because of Jeter's past history, but I don't know if right now I would rank him higher than Peralta. Peralta has better stats this season than Jeter in both hitting and
fielding.

I went with Jeter based solely on history and previous playoff performances so it's more of a toss up

in the post season a can of strained peas is better than A-rod.

A can of veggies that can bat 290 with a 925 ops I would take any day over either of those guys. He has had some bad series, but he has also went huge in others like in 2009. He didn't have a great WS but he still had 6 rbi.
