It’s going to be Miles, just because it’s too perfect.

Here’s how it’ll shake out:

Miles will bring his entire staff (with a couple of minor exceptions) to A2.

A couple of years into his reign, he will get falling down drunk at a Detroit-area restaurant and be fired.

Like the last time that happened, the head job will go to one of the assistants.

Miles’ defensive coordinator is Bo Pelini.

He does not have a clue how to disgiuise coverage schemes, present different looks to the opponent

If he knows the other team is going to throw the ball, he can't stop it

I don;t care what kind of hype he got last year He gave up 30 points to ball state, ohio state, and USC, and this he did the same thing against app state and oregon

He knows how to stop claasic grind it out offenses like ND and Penn St

Tressel and Carroll can shred his defense without much effort

I'm strongly-inclined to agree. It's not just about the athletes. There's a problem with the schemes. I'm not a defensive-coaching whiz, but I know what's working, and what's Swiss cheese.

English will be their minority interview, before they hire somebody else.

Just please not Brian Kelly, or a guy who's been a career NFL coach. We don't need a Charlie Weiss or Bill Callahan situation.

I've heard that Nick Saban might be available for the right price though.

I think they ought to take a serious look at Gary Pinkel down at Missouri. He knows how to win in the midwestern winters, he runs a modern offense and he's a great recruiter. I don't know if he'd leave Mizzou right now though. Of course that's only if Ty isn't available. He should be the first choice.

The day Nick Saban coaches Michigan is the day I grow wings, fly to An Arbor, abduct Martin and Coleman, and drop them off in the middle of Antarctica.
