About Us
RedWingsCentral.com, published by freelance hockey writer Matthew Wuest, is an online magazine that concentrates on Detroit Red Wings prospects and obscure details about the National Hockey League team — information that is not readily available via mainstream newspapers in Michigan.Matthew provides much of the site’s content, including prospect profiles, rankings, updates and feature stories, as well as web design.
Sarah Lindenau offers training camp coverage from Traverse City, Mich., each fall and shoots the majority of the site’s photos.
RedWingsCentral.com’s goal is to complement media coverage offered by the Detroit Free Press, Detroit News and MLive.com.
Meanwhile, RedWingsCentral.com’s message board community is one of the best places on the Internet to talk Red Wings. It sees hundreds of posts each day and more than 3,000 each month.
The site has existed in one form or another since 1999, but found its current home at RedWingsCentral.com in April of 2001.
